If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, please refrain from using this website and its associated services.

**2. Changes to Terms**

District 9 reserves the right to review and amend any of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page. Any changes to these Terms of Service will take effect immediately from the date of publication.

**3. Limitations of Use**

By using this website, you warrant on behalf of yourself, your users, and other parties you represent that you will not:

- Modify, copy, prepare derivative works of, decompile, or reverse engineer any materials and software contained on this website.
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from any materials and software on this website.
- Transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server.
- Knowingly or negligently use this website or any of its associated services in a way that abuses or disrupts our networks or any other service District 9 provides.

**8. Right to Terminate**

We may suspend or terminate your right to use our website and terminate these Terms of Service immediately upon written notice to you for any breach of these Terms of Service.

**9. Severance**

Any term of these Terms of Service, which is wholly or partially void or unenforceable, is severed to the extent that it is void or unenforceable. The validity of the remainder of these Terms of Service is not affected.

**10. Governing Law**

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.

**11. Health and Safety Acknowledgment**

Please be advised that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including District 9. Prior to registering for and attending District 9, please ensure you have read the latest CDC Guidelines for Prevention. By attending District 9, you acknowledge this inherent risk and, as a condition of entering District 9, you acknowledge, understand, and confirm each of the following in accordance with applicable health guidelines:

- That you will abide by all District 9 health and safety requirements.
- That you are not currently experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, as identified at CDC.gov.
- That prior to attending District 9, you have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a 14-day quarantine.
- That you are not under any self-quarantine orders.

Please do not enter District 9 or the Venue if you cannot confirm all of the above criteria. If at any point during your time at District 9 you do not meet all of the above criteria, you and those in your group (which may include your exhibiting company) will be required to isolate and may be relocated or asked to leave the Venue at District 9’s sole discretion.

**12. District 9’s Code of Conduct**

All individuals who exhibit, work, attend, or take part in District 9 are required to behave in accordance with District 9’s Code of Conduct (the “Code of Conduct”). District 9 reserves the right to deny entry or remove from District 9 any person who, in District 9’s sole and absolute discretion, behaves or threatens to behave in a manner that is in violation of this Code of Conduct.

**NO DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR**

Always behave in a respectful manner at District 9. That means no running, no cutting in line, no jumping over barriers or guardrails, no use of foul language, no screaming or yelling, and no encouraging disruptive behavior from others. Please treat the facility with respect and do not litter or deface property.

**NO WEAPONS**

District 9 has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for weapons of any kind. Security and local law enforcement officials will treat anything that looks like a real weapon as a real weapon. Please review our Weapons Policy below.

**NO HARASSMENT**

District 9 has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind. Please review our

Anti-Harassment Policy below.

**NO DRUGS**

Illegal drugs and other illegal substances will not be tolerated at District 9. This includes any medication that has not been legally obtained, is not being used in its intended dosage, or for its intended purpose.

**NO SMOKING**

Smoking is not permitted at District 9. This includes cigarettes, vape pens, and marijuana.

**NO THEFT OR VIOLENCE**

Everyone at District 9 is entitled to expect health and safety. Theft and fighting or violence of any kind (including verbal threats of violence) are explicitly prohibited and may result in notification of security and police.

**NO ALCOHOL**

Alcohol may not be brought into District 9. Anyone found consuming alcohol at District 9 will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

**NO GAMBLING**

District 9 has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for gambling of any kind. Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from District 9 as well as notification of security and police.

**13. Anti-Harassment Policy**

District 9 strives to create and maintain an environment where all people are treated with dignity, decency, and respect. As such, we expect ALL parties participating in District 9, including but not limited to, exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees, to behave appropriately at all times.

District 9 has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind including, but not limited to:

- Stalking
- Intimidation
- Offensive verbal comments
- Physical assault and/or battery
- Threats
- Harassing or non-consensual photography or recording
- Sustained disruption of panels, signings, presentations, and other events
- Bathroom policing
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Unwelcome physical attention
- Sexually explicit, suggestive, and/or provocative behavior
- Hate symbols

In relation to, but not limited to:

- Race
- Color
- National origin
- Gender
- Gender identity
- Gender presentation
- Sexual orientation
- Marital status
- Age
- Body size
- Disability
- Appearance
- Religion
- Citizenship
- Pregnancy

If a person engages in harassing behavior at any time, District 9 staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from District 9 with no refund. Our policy applies to EVERYONE participating in District 9. Exhibitors, attendees, speakers, guests, professionals, press, staff, volunteers, and security are ALL subject to our Anti-Harassment Policy.

Anyone can report harassment to District 9 staff at any time. If someone’s behavior has made you uncomfortable, or if you witness the same happening to someone else, you should immediately contact security or District 9 staff.

If necessary, District 9 staff will contact local law enforcement, provide escort, offer a safe place, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to make sure they feel safe for the rest of District 9.

**14. Weapons Policy**

District 9 has a strict ZERO TOLERANCE policy about weapons. No one may bring, buy, or sell anything that could maim, damage, or cause bodily harm.

The following are forbidden at District 9:

- Firearms of any kind (including realistic replica firearms)
- Projectile weapons
- Bladed weapons such as knives or switch blades
- Explosives (including firecrackers or fireworks)
- Chemical weapons (including mace and pepper spray)
- Blunt weapons (including brass knuckles and clubs)
- Instruments that cause excessive noise levels
- Drones

District 9 has sole discretion in any matter that it believes may affect public safety.
